Umm.. What's with the title? Well, it just the weather here. It was really sunny and then I get ready to go out, then suddenly there's the thunder lol. Oh well, I better do the review now..

I just bought Nyx eye shadows, Black and Sahara. This is my first Nyx shadow, actually. I also bought some pigment along with these two. And I will do the review seperately (so I will have another thing to blog about lol).

The Black is the dupe of Carbon by MAC. The black is so versatile and the texture is rich and creamy, so it make the blending easier. The color is so pigmented too, as you can see. I am lucky enough to try my sis' Carbon before buying it. And after having this Black, I don't think I will need the carbon. Yay, for cheaper product with high quality! I don't have negative comment on this product. I just love it!

And the Sahara! It surprisingly almost same color with my skin, so if anyone ask my skin tone I'll say it "sahara" from now on. Instead of "NC.." hahah. I'm a fan of shimmer and Sahara made me happy. The shimmer is not that much, but enough. Sahara is incredibly soft, rich, and velvety. This is a really nice beige color. I am happy with what I got :)

REVIEW : Maybelline VS Silky Girl Make Up Remover

I've been using Maybelline make up remover for like ages. Because most of my waterproof mascaras are from Maybelline, and the remover work really well. But then lately I like to experiment with make up even more and I think I need to try a cheaper remover that work about the same with the Maybelline. And one day I found this Silky Girl remover. The bottle look different, as you can see, but what inside look really similar.

Maybelline are affordable. But Silky girl is even cheaper! I heard that Silky Girl are the Asian version of Wet and Wild. I never have Wet and Wild yet, so I don't know if the quality are the same. But I heard some people like the Wet and Wild gel eyeliner, and I hate the Silky Girl's. Okay that's another story. Let's keep that for another review, so I have something to write about here hahah :')

Anyway, here's the Maybelline (Almost finish) and the Silky Girl..

And below are the pictures of how they work. What I did before, I put a red shadow and blue glitter on my hand. And then I try to remove with Maybelline remover and Silky Girl remover twice.

I think you guys can see clearly. Maybelline can remove the glitter pretty well, but you can see some shadow still. And Silky Girl is not even close enough. Maybelline wins.

But I was just wanna do something different with her everyday look. She usually use dark colors, so this time I use bubble gum colors to brighten up her look.

It doesn't really shown on this pic tho, cause I was just apply light make up on her.And the light washed the colors away. But anyway, here she is..

These are the colors, some are mate and some are with soft glitter.

I really love the applicator, they're squueeeezzeeeyyy lol

I am a fan of bright colors, everything unnatural are mine! lol. So just by looking this pallete can make me dance.

The review about the acid pallete isn't that good tho, but I still can't get my mind off this one. I will still do the review and tutorial about this pallete. I hope soon enough. But I have to do my thesis now. Okbye.

A Thousand Snaps Made One Nice Picture

Days ago I found a beauty blog that win my heart, it's Beauty Darla. Her blog is so neat and clean. And she post much about tips and trick, which I realllyyyyy love. And after few visit, I really convinced to make one too. BUT it's not as easy as I thought. First, a DSLR camera is really not self friendly, it really good to take someone else picture but yourself! Especially if you wanna take picture of your own face, I mean focus on your face nicely. And especially if you are a fix lens user, like me! Geeeeee!

And so today I decide to make my first tutorial post. I took tons of pictures, and most all of them are creeepppeeeeyyy. Whew. I really adore Beauty Darla who done it really well. And those other beauty blogger who done it too, you all are amazing!

It's been 18 days already since I turned 23rd. Thank you all for the wishes through blog comment, facebook, twitter, phone calls, and so on. I am so grateful for what God have done in my life.

It's been a really long time since my last BLOG CRUSH series. Now I'll feature a blogger that I've got crush on since a long time ago. However I feel really bad because I kept holding this for about 2 weeks after she nicely answer my questions. But there's a pressure for me to make this nice enough and not make her blog sounds less great. Well, here it is..

My name is Sarah, I live in Pontianak, Indonesia. I'm 17 and currently having my senior year on high school. I spend lots of time in front of my laptop, or hanging out in a coffee shop. I have all these ideas and sometimes, they evolve into something real. I love everything vintage!

You are a vintage lovers and don't mind to get thrifted stuff, but there are many people who againts that because of some reasons. What do you think of that?

You have no idea how much I love thrifted stuff! Literally, all of my best clothing are thrifted pieces. Some people just have a different taste, I guess. Those people who hate thrifting maybe thinks that thrifted stuffs are old and dirty, or maybe they ever been to thrift store but they couldn't get past of the smell and didn't have the patience to dig through the junk and find the treasure! Who knows? One thing for sure is, those people will never get the feeling when you find a beautiful piece for a dollar or two and gain the compliments along the way!

Do you think brands are important? Why?
For me, brands are not important, although I don't mind being the proud owner of some branded goods, buying things I want even if the price tag makes me a wee bit uncomfortable.

It doesn't have to be all the time. It's like a reward for myself :)

I guess the reason why people are willing to fork out big dollars for branded goods is either for the sake of the brand or to show it off.

Quality wise, some branded goods' quality are definitely better than the brandless ones. But, I have also bought some branded goods that don't last as long as brandless goods, which leads me to think whether it's worth it or not to buy that particular product.

I read your tweet about being copied. Honestly, what do you think of that?

I got annoyed at first. But then I realized I'm not the only one. People being copied is a common issue nowadays. So I just look at the bright side of this. Someone is copying me because my stuff is good (nobody wants to copy the bad thing!) but just put a little credit at the end of a post would be nice...

What is the difference between inspired and copycat for you?

Being inspired and plagiarism is two totally different things. I think it's perfectly acceptable to be inspired by another work. For example taking a picture based on someone's concept and adding more stuff to make it look more interesting. Plagiarism is when you actually steal someone's work or wording and claim it as your own :)

I see you as a young woman who are sure about your self and know what you want already, which I think is rare (but so good)

I always know what I want. I never let the fear of not knowing how to do something keep me from getting it done. I always say what I mean and mean what I say. One of my most favorite quotes is 'Happy girls are the prettiest' by Audrey Hepburn. Always think happy thoughts and believe in yourself. I gotta admit that there are times I find it hard to trust myself, but well, I'm a teenager! Sometimes I just can't help it, but give it a bit time, and I know everything's gonna be okay. It's just like a magic spell for me!

Have you feel like you're not belong to some place?

I do! Sometimes I feel like I don't belong anywhere in this world. When it happens, I'll put on my iPod and take a walk/bike ride. Find some fresh air, and treat myself an ice cream. I don’t let things get to me too much because I think they're not really important in the long run.

What do you think about indonesian fashion bloggers these days?

Actually I feel unpleasant to answer this question since I don't consider myself as a fashion blogger. But I find Indonesian fashion blogger are so great. I have read some of fashion blogs and I'm impressed by their works. Indeed, there are some trashy blogs (sorry).... but it's true that blogging has opened a channel for many talented independent Indonesian fashionistas, which has a natural sense of style and the most important, different and fresh.

Do you have a beauty routine?

I honestly don't have much of beauty routine. I rarely go to the beauty salon (I even cut my own bangs) and prefer do the DIY at home. Every once in three days I apply honey mask before sleep. and for my hair, I wash it once every two days with conditioner and vitamin/hair tonic and let it dry naturally (I don't blow dry or straighten my hair). I never skip breakfast because it gives me the energy for the whole day. And I go exercising every day + running every Sunday morning. Last, just enjoy life!

I'm not that really pretty.. but anyway, just be happy, smiles always brighten up my day! Believe in yourself, and be original!

It’s really touch my heart when I received a comment or email or even tweet from you telling that you miss my post. Thanks a lot for making me keep going. And I’m really sorry to write nothing here. Not that I don’t wanna blog anymore, but a lot of things happened :D

Remember that in previous post I told you I got a internship test? Well they kindly enough to accept me to be part of their team for 3 months, started since January 31^st. And also, since then I live by myself here. I didn’t know anyone here before. Even though I’m so grateful that people here are so nice to me, I’m still awkward when it comes to many new people at once.

Theres a time when I feel like I wanna go back home. I stop few things I usually do, I don't even know why. I was sick at my second week and lose too many weight, that could be a good thing in other case but not this one. I don't know who am I sometimes. But I believe I am not alone, for those who live by themselves at the first time maybe experience the same feeling.

Hello, pumpkin pies :) How are you? My classes just start again today after super long semester break. And that's what i wore to school. Yes, I'm currently into shirt. That's a same shirt with the one i wore with pink shorts in previous post. I just added a brown leopard scarf, and tied it as a bow. My mama said it looks 'crowded', but that's how I roll :')

Days ago i tried to die my hair to super light brown, but it turned dark brown. Don't ask me why!

I wonder if there's anyone who get nervous as I do everytime new classes start. "What if the teacher is such a killer?" "What if we should make a group and I got no partner?" as i promised before, here's the feature of my very favorite vintage blogger. i got crush on her since the first time i read her blog. she has a pretty face , talented (she makes over ordinary pieces to the extraordinary ones) and of course stylishly vintage. but after talk to her i found out that she also has interesting personality and a big heart too! i can't help but keep giggle reading her answers. do find out how adorable she is, i'm sure you will love her as much as i do :]

Tell us about yourself and how you started being so fashionable.

Since I was very little, I have always loved dressing in a way that expresses my personality – it has led to many fashion disasters over the years, but now I think I have established a sense of style that suits me! I don’t know if it can even be described as fashionable, but it’s always a style that I feel comfortable in.

Do you work in fashion industry?

Unfortunately not – I work in a supermarket! But hopefully after university I will find a job involving fashion, French and business.

How would you describe your style to a six year old kid?

‘I wear exactly the same clothes that you wear – but with high heels!’

Why you choose vintage as your signature style?

I love vintage for a number of reasons – its more individual, often better quality, cheaper and of course better for the environment!

What is the fashion items that are big no no for you?

Lots of people say this, but it has to be crocs and uggs. In these cases, I definitely think fashion should come before comfort!

if you were a clothes, what kind of clothes would you be?

I think I’d be a pinafore – a little bit childlike, but able to be grown up at times!

Which one you choose, fab dress with ugly shoes or ugly dress with fab shoes?

Fab dress with ugly shoes. And just hope they’re not crocs.

Who is your fashion inspirations?

Definitely the icons of the 60s – such as Francoise Hardy and Jane Birkin. Also Alexa Chung!

If you got a chance to make over a guy, how he would look like?

I’d give him a tweed jacket, a skinny tie and a smart shirt. It’s a bit of a generic ‘indie boy’ look but I like that on a man :D

If you could be any character in fiction, who you'll be?

Little Red Riding Hood – purely for the red cape!

if you won £ 20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?

Keep £10 million and go and help people with the other £10 million

How Sadie was like 10 years ago?

I was 8 – and had a lot of ‘puppy fat’! I wore the same t-shirt allll the time.

And how you would like 10 years from now?

Hopefully I’ll have a good job and a nice house!

any tips to be a stylishly vintage?

Buy things that suit you, and mix them in with some high street items.

What makes you angry mostly?

School work during school holidays!

how do you tackle stress and define stress?

Stress for me is normally when I have too many things to do and don’t know where to start – with a deadline looming. I usually just prioritise the most important things and try to get as much done as possible – and take regular breaks for cups of tea!

how would you react if you are transformed into a duck?

I’d be quite shocked – and then annoyed that all of the bread that people chuck at me gets soggy!

And the last but not least, Would you mind sharing a random fact about yourself?

My favourite food is completely plain couscous!

NOTICE : on my old blog i said that i will introduce you to my favorites blogs by featuring them on my blog every friday. promises not meant to be broken, but my bad i can't keeping it up with my very busy school stuff. but i will keep feature them on this blog sometimes. to keep on track, here i copy the very first featured i had on the old blog.

i love doing blog walking to see more ideas about everything include personal styles that i can related to, with the weather or even the culture situations. then i found this Singaporean's blog and got big crush on her since then. she wears fabulous clothes with big smiles, who could not love her? i'll let the interview and the pictures explain.

What's your name, age, location?
I'm Becks, 19 going on 20, and I live in Singapore.

Tell us about yourself and how you started being so fashionable.
Heh first off, thank you for being so kind. (: I am currently a first year fashion student studying in LASALLE College of the Arts. I went through really bad cases of fashion mishaps in my teen years before I really grasped what fashion really is a few years back.

Do you work in fashion industry?
I wish! Haha. I am currently a first year fashion student at a local arts school.

What are your favorite brands/designers? Why?
I have so many favorites! Alexander Wang for his minimalist/grunge/laidback style, Marc Jacobs (who doesn't love this man!?), and high street brands like Zara and Topshop for their affordable fast fashion (and adaptation of the latest runway trends commoners like me cannot afford).

Can you describe a bit about your style?
I go with the flow and I don't stick to one style. My style flows along with my mood. If I'm feeling girly today, I'll throw on feminine pieces. And if I feel like I could kick asses, I'll grunge up a little.

How did you become so great in mix and matching?
Thank you again. (: Practice makes perfect I guess!

What is the fashion big no no for you?
Hmm.. I can't think of any for now.

Can I be a pair of kick-ass stratospheric heels instead?

Ugly dress with fab shoes. A fab pair of shoes is the KEY.

Too many! The Olsen twins, Alexa Chung.. I get my inspirations from everywhere!
